  Ralph C. Roberson, CPA, Principal

Education: Basic studies, Florida State University; B.A. in Accounting, the University of West Florida. Professional Sales Management Institute, Cape Cod, MA., Industrial Labor Relations Management Institute, Chicago,IL.

Experience: Certified Public Accountant since 1978. Tax, accounting and auditing experience, with extensive business management experience in sales, personnel, labor relations, and general management. Tax compliance and planning for real estate, construction and development, medical, engineering, and other professional and retail small businesses.

Community Service: Past President, Gulf County Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Port St. Joe, Constitution City Business Association; Former Vice Chairman, Gulf Coast Community College Board of Trustees.Served on Board of Directors of the Gulf County Friends of the Library, Shark "100" Club, Gulf Alliance for Local Art and Gulf Coast Ducks Unlimited. Member of the First United Methodist Church, past chair of the Administrative Board, and Board of Trustees.

Michael D. McKenzie, CPA (FL, AL, MS)

Education: B.S. Mississippi State University

Experience: Nine years in tax, auditing and accounting. Tax compliance and accounting for construction, real estate, healthcare, banking, restaurant, service, and retail businesses as well as the non-profit and governmental sectors. Software consulting and QuickBooks support.

Community Service: Treasurer, Port St. Joe Lions Club; Treasurer, Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves; Director, Gulf County Community Development Corporation

  Audrey Schmidt, CPA, (Florida, Georgia)

Education:  B.A.in Math;  Accounting studies at Georgia State University.

Experience:  CPA (Georgia) since 1992.  Recently received Florida CPA.  Many years accounting experience in the telecommunications industry.  Started with Roberson & Friedman in 2003.  Extensive knowledge in retail businesses, restaurants and medical practices.

Community Service:  Member of the community choral group and very active in her homeowners association.

  Cheryl Haun, Office Manager

Education: A.A., Accounting Applications, Gulf Coast Community College.
                         Certified QuickBooks Advisor. Notary Public
Experience: Twentyyears in general accounting, payroll and office management.
                  Office systems including, Quickbooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Office.
                  Extensive experience in business organization and set up for retail
                  businesses, restaurants, construction, real estate, professional and medical
                  practices.
Community Service: Member, Gulf County Chamber of Commerce; Community volunteer and youth programs.

  Betty Jean Baker, Office Manager

Education: Basic Studies, Gulf Coast Community College & Miami-Dade Community College; Real Estate Broker. Bilingual English-Spanish. Notary Public

Experience: Twenty years experience in real estate, construction, corporate and small business accounting. Notary Public since 1990.  Joined Roberson & Friedman in 2001.  
Extensive knowledge in small business startup and organization;  construction and land development accounting;  accounting liason for Spanish speaking clientele.

Community Service: Past President, Realtor Association of Franklin & Southern Gulf Counties; Member, Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce; former Cubmaster; active Red Cross donor; Volunteer for Growing Minds Center for Autism, Port St. Joe, FL.

Kayla Dailey, Accounting Assistant

Education:  B.S. in Accounting, Florida State University.

Experience:  Three years experience in general accounting, payroll and accounting software applications.  With Roberson & Associates since February, 2010.

Community Service: Volunteer work with Port St Joe MS/HS athletics.

Experience: Two years in general accounting and tax support.Previously 12 years experience in office management in commercial construction.
